Hi, I'm Leah, and I'm so happy you're here!
I'm the face behind Locks & Lashes, a cosy home salon in Newcastle where every appointment is completely one-to-one. No busy salon floor. No rushing between clients. Just a relaxed space where you can switch off, have a chat, enjoy a coffee and leave feeling like the very best version of yourself.
Whether you're coming in for fresh hair, beautiful brows, lifted lashes or a complete glow up, my goal is always the same. To enhance what you already have and help you walk out feeling confident, refreshed and just that little bit lighter.
Hair and beauty have always been where my heart is.
After training through City & Guilds, I took a leap of faith in 2021, just after COVID, and opened my own salon from home. It was a scary step at the time, but it quickly became everything I'd dreamed of and more.
Since then, I've had the privilege of meeting so many amazing clients who have become so much more than appointments in my diary. Somewhere between therapist, bestie, hype girl and someone to listen to every random thought, the relationships built in my salon are honestly my favourite part of what I do.
In 2024, I was incredibly proud to be named a finalist for Home Salon of the Year, something that still feels a little surreal and reminds me just how far this little business has come.
